Environmental Design I

Parts of “Environmental Design I” course works

The course works include three parts. The first part, Climate as Context, involves an analysis of the climate of St. Louis and another city (Phoenix, AZ) and two pavilions that adapt to the climate of two locations. The second part, Site as Context, is an analysis characteristic of a hypothetical site under the climate of St. Louis. The third part, Energy, focuses on the passive designs and building envelope of a pavilion on the site of the previous part.

The second part is a collaboration with Sijia Liu.
